Painted from a photograph taken by myself from a hike at Sam’s Point in Minnewaska State Park near Ellenville, NY. The photo was taken in the fall when the blueberries turn a crimson red.  The first time I saw this I was so taken with the scene – I have never seen a red this beautiful.
